Starting in 1974 through to 1991, Chris bred and exhibited Doberman Pinschers and Bichon Frises, winning top honours both nationally and internationally.

In 1991, Chris aquired her first Rhodesian Ridgeback and continued her winning ways in both Canada and the United States.

While operating a successful pet grooming business and school, Chris continues to breed, train and show Ridgebacks as well as Dandie Dinmont Terriors. It is through her work with her dogs that Chris has experienced how herbal suppliments have enhanced the health and wellness of her own dogs and holds certification as a Chartered Herbalist from the Dominion Herbal College. As such, Chris has developed and is marketing a line of herbal supplements under the name of Regalcrown Botanicals.

Chris has found herbal supplements to be a safe and healthy method of treating many common ailments and enjoys sharing this knowledge. Chris does advise owners that if they are in doubt about their pet's health, they should always consult professional help from a veterinarian.
